Irvine Regional Park is the oldest regional park in the California. The park is located in Santiago Canyon, just 6 miles from the east of the City of Orange. The park was opened to the public from the year 1898. The park receives more than millions of visitors and remains as the most popular park in the Orange County.

The park provides recreation opportunities, group picnic areas and concessions. A four mile trail skirts the perimeter of the central park which provides the scenic views of the park. It is natural scenery which is pleasant for a walking tour for the whole family.
The group picnic area is the best place for the family. The area can accommodate a group of 155 peoples. The group should get the permission from the park 15 prior to the activity. There are 4 types of group areas. The first group area is located near the lagoon and boathouse, second area is located near the bandstage, the third area back of the park and the fourth area located in the Villa Park.
The walking tour around the regional park is very useful for the visitor as they can feel relax and comfortable in both mind and body. The park will be opened from 6.00am to 6.00pm during the fall through winter season. And during the spring through summer the park will be opened from 8.00am to 4.00pm.
