Knott's Berry Farm Rides Guides
As America's 1st theme park, Knott's Berry Farm has 40 major rides distributed in six themed areas. It's an adventure land for children and adults alike. Guides for exploring this theme park are provided here.
To start with, let me share with you the origin of Knott's Berry Farm. It was named after Cordelia Knott, who was a good cook. In 1934, she started to sell fried chicken to support her family. Surprisingly, her fired chicken have gained the favor of local people. More and more people are waiting to buy her fried chicken. So she came up with the brilliant idea that maybe some old west-themed attractions can be added to entertain the customers. Later that place gradually grew into a park. For over 70 years, the small park has developed into Knott's Berry Farm today.
Knott's Berry Farm Rides here are classified into 5 categories. They are Roller Coasters, Thrill Rides, Children's Rides, Family Rides and Water Rides. Among the major 40 rides, some are aggressive thrill such as Supreme Scream, Screamin's Swing, Rip Ride and more. And there are the best hair-raising roller coasters in the country. That's why we call it Knott's Scary Farm. Be prepared when you try the aggressive thrill ones.
Knott's Berry Farm can be Knott's Merry Farm as well. If you are going there with your families, some child-friendly and family oriented rides are highly recommended like Butterfield Stagecoach, Calico Mine Ride, Balloon Race and Camp Bus. Water rides such as Bigfoot Rapids, Perilous Plunge and Timber Mountain Log Ride are super exciting.
If you want to experience the 5 world-class thrill rides, follow me! We will start with Silver Bullet, which is located right by the front gate. Our next stop would be the Ghost town. Try the super thrill GhostRider there. Then go back to the Perilous Plunge, Supreme Scream and Xcelerator. Thus far you have enjoyed a thrill yet exciting journey with great efficiency. How about filling the rest of day with some funny light-hearted rides like Mine Train and the Stagecoach?
Safety issues are attached with great importance in Knott's Berry Farm. Most of the rides here have strict height limits. Height requirements are printed on the park map. Check if you will fit. Besides, be sure that you are well dressed. They require shoes, shirts and blouses at all times. For disable people, wheelchair rental is available here.
