AMC 24 is the largest cinema multiplex in the southwest of Downtown Disney. The multiplex chain has a rich history. This multiplex was the brainchild of Mr. Stanley H Durwood. He built the world's first multiplex known as "The Parkway Twin" in 1963 in South Kansas City. By the turn of 1968, his multiplex expanded and was incorporated into AMC(American Multi Cinema Inc). Then they later introduced sofa type seating arrangements with cup holders and perfume pouring from the ceiling.
