Downtown Disney Anaheim is located adjacent to the Disneyland Park on the palm lined, beautiful Disneyland Drive. It is a dining, entertainment and shopping complex with restaurants, a 12-screen movie theatre, stores, street performers, the House of Blues and ESPN Zone.

The place offers the visitors on Anaheim travel to do plenty of things and is perfect to round out a Disneyland vacation. There is no admission charge to Downtown Disney and parking for the first 3 hours is free. Visitors on getting a validation from a sit down restaurant or a movie theatre can get two more hours of free parking.

Downtown Disney is a good place to have a meal while getting a better value of money when you travel in Anaheim CA. The restaurants in Downtown Disney Anaheim include the House of Blues, Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria, Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, Catal Restaurant and the Rainforest Cafe which is popular among kids of all ages.

Visitors can try the Uva Bar if they do not want to wait for a table and want to have a good meal. The Uva Bar situated in the central courtyard has a much shorter wait and shares the kitchen with Catal Restaurant. Visitors to any of the restaurants can also arrange for Priority Seating by calling the Disney Dining number.

Visitors to the Downtown Disney Anaheim who are not going in the park but want to see the fireworks of Disneyland can walk to the parking lot of Mickey and Friends by following the signs in Downtown Disney. After going to the top floor of the lot, one can get a great view of the fireworks at the Fantasmic show and the castle.

There are many unique shops found in the area of Downtown Disney Anaheim. Most of the items sold in these shops are items of home decoration, toys and jewelry. The Build-a-Bear workshop is a place which children enjoy visiting.
