When was the city of Anaheim founded

Anaheim was founded in 1857 mainly by German settlers who found the region suitable for agriculture of grapes causing a sprouting of wineries. As the city is located around German settlings, by the Santa Ana River, Anaheim got its name as a German for the area meaning home by that river.
