Anaheim draws millions of visitors from all over the world for travel in Anaheim and, therefore, there is a wide variety of old world and new savvy hotels to choose from around the theme parks and the stadium.

Hotels in Anaheim can be categorized into those located in and around Disneyland Park and others in different parts of Anaheim. Of the hotels Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel is just an eight minutes walk away from the main gates of Disneyland Park and also close to the Anaheim Convention center. It offers a watery pirate playground, a castaway cove and all this wonderful for the kids on holiday.

Disneyland Resort Anaheim California was the first hotel built at the Disney resort and still draws a huge number of visitors to its walk through the waterfalls and its Never Land pool complex. Embassy Suites is also conveniently located near the Disneyland Park. Their 'Economy' and 'Special day' packages are popular.

Days Inn Disneyland/West is the closest to Disneyland and the California Adventure Park. One can even enjoy a Disneyland firework show from the rooms at night. Portofino Inn & Suites is adjacent to the Convention Center and across the street from Disneyland.

Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is a single tower hotel overlooking Disney's California Adventure. It also sports a rooftop pool. Located on West Magic Way, close to Disneyland, Disneyland Hotel offers theme pools, a gift shop and sumptuous food. The newly-renovated Sheraton Park Hotel rooms have the view of the Disney Resort and the beautiful Garden Walk.

The other hotels which deserve mention are The Sheraton Anaheim, a castle-themed hotel with easy access to the Disney Park and the shoppers' arcade. The Red Lion is very close to the shopping malls and the resort transit system.

The Hyatt Regency offers complimentary shuttle service, like many others, to and from the Disney Resort. The Anabella Hotel has an old-world Spanish charm in its white-washed adobe-like walls. The Desert Palm Suites is an attractive hotel and so is the Hilton Anaheim, which is well connected to the three major airports in and around Anaheim.

The gas lantern lighting, European style architecture and marble flooring all add up to the charm of the Ayres Hotel. It is close to the Angel Stadium and the Honda Center.
